On Wednesday, December 17, 2003, the Broadcast Pioneers of Philadelphia had its Christmas luncheon. Our entertainment for the day was Christmas songs sung by CBS 3, KYW-TV's Ukee Washington. Part way through the program, Ukee invited former Sports Director of WPVI and WCAU-TV, Joe Pellegrino to join him in a duet of "Silent Night." Then member Diego Castellanos, host of Puerto Rican Panarama on Channel 6 did a rendition of "Feliz Navidad."

Ukee sang some songs and then a duet with Broadcast Pioneers member Joe Pellegrino. Then, Diego Castellanos sang. He said, "If I sang on my show, they would yank it off the air." We have put together a scoped version of the event.
